Parent coaches & managers: these are the steps you’ll follow each week so that you have for each game 2 printouts - the Match Card and Coach IDs
1) Set Home or Away Game Day Roster Prior to Each Game
2) Print Match Card Prior to Each Game
3) Print ID Cards for Coaches (one time at beginning of season)
Since the coaches' pictures do not appear on the game day roster, they will need their own printed pass with their picture
1) Set Home or Away Game Day Roster Prior to Each Game
- Log into Got Sport
- Go to Team Management
- Go to Matches
- In Event dropdown, select WYSL Fall Sked 2023 (toward end of list). You should then see your games listed.
- Scroll to right and you will see 3 dots. Click on 3 dots, select Home Day Match Roster or Away Day Match Roster.
- All your players with their pictures should come up. Select all the players on your team and any borrowed subs that will be playing in the match. Then click Add to Match Day Roster.
2) Print Match Card Prior to Each Game
- Once you've completed Step 1 above, it will result in an "Attending" list of players. Toward the top right of that screen, there is a button titled "Photo Match Card" that you can click and then print. It should have a QR code in the upper right corner, contain pics of the kids, and list the coaches and players.
- Go back to the 3 dots, and select Print Match Card
- In the popup for game sheet, select Photo
- Click Export and print the match card - it should have a QR code in the upper right corner, contain pics of the kids, and list the coaches and players.
3) Print ID Cards for Coaches (one time at beginning of season)
Since the coaches' pictures do not appear on the game day roster, they will need their own printed pass with their picture
- Go to Team Management.
- Click on your team.
- Click on Rosters and in the dropdown, select WYSL/ENYYSA 2023-24 Team Registration and Rosters, then click Search.
- Click on Documents/IDs.
- Click on ID cards and print.
- Cards for the entire roster will appear, but the coaches will only need their own ID cards (you can print and cut along the dashed perforation).
- As long as the coaches have their ID cards on them for games, you do not need to print new ones each week.

Several days before your game, you should reach out to the other team to confirm the game and your uniform colors. Switch your team to the other uniform if it makes sense (if the other team wears black, don't wear dark blue). Under WYSL rules, the home team is supposed to switch where there is a conflict; however in practice, most teams with 2 uniforms will honor the home team's uniform choice.

- When you are confirming game details for home games on any of our school fields, please indicate that dogs are not permitted anywhere on school property (and remind your own team, too).
Borrowing Players:
As the season goes on, you may have some games where you cannot field a full team due to player conflicts or injuries, or you may have just enough players for a team but would like a couple of subs. Teams are permitted to "borrow" players from other CYSC teams, subject to the following rules:

As the season goes on, you may have some games where you cannot field a full team due to player conflicts or injuries, or you may have just enough players for a team but would like a couple of subs. Teams are permitted to "borrow" players from other CYSC teams, subject to the following rules:
- U9-U11: you can borrow players from another team in your age group, regardless of the division the team plays in.
- U12-U14: you can borrow players from another team in your same age group if that team is in a LOWER division, and you may borrow players from any team in the age group below your team.
- Each team can borrow up to 3 players each week, so long as you do not exceed the roster limit for your age group (14 players for U9-U10, 16 players for U11-U12, 18 players for U13-U14). If you go above this limit, then you need to remove the players that are not attending that week from your home or away game day roster so that you stay within the limit.
- A player can only play as a borrowed player for another team 3 times during the season.
How to Add Borrowed Players:
- Let Stacey Reynolds know by the THURSDAY prior to the game who your team is borrowing, as it needs to be reported to and approved by the WYSL each week.
- Once the league processes the list of subs, the borrowed player(s) should appear as options to be added to your home or away roster for that particular game. Then when you download the match card, the borrowed player(s) will be highlighted.
- Note: the league won't process sub requests after close of business Friday, and refs are not allowed to let a player on the field who doesn't appear on the match card.
